Case study
East Fife ClubSport
A volunteer-run sports council does three jobs: represent clubs, celebrate people and fund their next step. The new site is built around exactly those three, because that is the whole organisation on one screen.

The brief.
East Fife ClubSport (formerly East Fife Sports Council) supports 83 affiliated clubs across 24 sports, from Tayport to the East Neuk. The old identity undersold the work; the new site had to carry the renamed organisation, explain affiliation in plain terms, and put the two crown jewels front and centre: the ClubSport Awards and the £500-a-year Club Development Grant.
What we did.
- Structured the whole site around three jobs.
Community, Celebrate, Funding: numbered, explained, and each with its own routes. A volunteer landing here knows in ten seconds what the organisation can do for their club.
- Made the money impossible to miss.
The grant gets its own band with eligibility in three checks, and the awards get a countdown: the two reasons a club committee visits get the loudest treatment.
- Turned the club list into a directory.
Every affiliated club, grouped by sport, each linking onward. The site serves the network, not just the council.
What shipped.
- Site for the renamed organisation
- Grant eligibility and application flow
- ClubSport Awards section with nomination routes
- Club directory across 24 sports
- News and impact reporting
What it does now
Affiliation is now a £15-a-year proposition a club can understand in one visit, and the council's real impact of grants, awards and school programmes finally looks like what it is.
