The brief.
The Funeral Printers lets families design and order funeral stationery, from orders of service and memorial boards to invitation and thank-you cards, from home, without a trip to a printer at the hardest possible time.
The brief was an online builder that a stressed, grieving, often older customer could finish: upload photos, pick hymns and poems from lists instead of typing them, see the price before starting, and never feel lost.
What we did.
- Made the builder the product.
Step-by-step order-of-service creation with photo upload and hymn and poem selection from drop-down lists, so nobody has to remember or retype a verse on their own.
- Put prices and bundles up front.
Individual stationery and a bundle price sit on the homepage, because the fear of an unknown final cost is one more burden this customer does not need.
- Showed how it works before asking for anything.
A how-to demo video and a browse-first structure let people understand the whole process before committing to it.
What shipped.
- Guided design-and-order builder with photo upload
- Hymn and poem libraries built into the flow
- Clear per-item and bundle pricing
- Product ranges across the full stationery set
- Delivery and ordering routes for funeral directors too
What it does now
Families complete something meaningful from their own kitchen table, and funeral directors get a supplier their clients can use unassisted. Order volumes are with the client.
