Case study
1804 Vodka
A young spirits brand cannot sell heritage it does not have, so it has to sell the thing it does have: a real place, a real process and a founder who went looking for the right distiller instead of the nearest one.

The brief.
1804 is an ultra-premium vodka made in the village of Bercloux in western France. As a new brand it walks into a category owned by names with centuries behind them, so the site could not lean on legacy. What it has instead is provenance: a two-year search across nine European countries for the right distiller, months of formulating, and a traditional process worth explaining.
The brief: make the story do the selling, and make the bottle look like it costs what it costs.
What we did.
- Led with the serve, not the label.
The hero is the vodka being poured in a bar, because a premium spirit is bought as an occasion, not as a bottle on a shelf. The product photography sits inside that scene rather than floating on white.
- Told the origin story in one screen.
Born in Bercloux: who went looking, what they were looking for, and why they stopped where they did. Short enough to actually be read.
- Explained the process like a menu, not a lecture.
Harvest, fermentation, distillation, filtration: four steps, four lines each, with the details that justify the price sitting in plain sight.
What shipped.
- Story-first brand homepage
- Origin and process sections written to be read
- Bar-scene photography direction carried through the layout
- Product and contact pages
What it does now
The site gives a new brand the thing money cannot shortcut: a reason to believe the bottle is worth it before the first taste. Sales and trade figures are with the client.
